About The Artist

Hi, my name is Elen Morgan, I am the artist behind The Glass Altar. I am originally a Bristol based, Tattoo Artist and Illustrator.

I have worked as a tattoo artist since 2021, and currently work at Red Rabbit in Bristol UK. While I have not been in the industry for a long time I love what I do and take pride in all of my work. 
I specialise in neo-Japanese and botanical designs, blending traditional and modern styles to create unique pieces. I offer custom & flash designs all at affordable prices.

In October 2024 I taught myself how to engrave glass, which took off more than I anticipated. And then recently in December 2025 l've expanded that into working with stained glass.

I make one off engraved and stained glass pieces, taking a lot of influence from my tattoo work. My work includes stained-glass hanging panels as well as panels that incorporate my own engraved designs.

Learning to make stained glass has been such a fun and challenging process, and has taught me a lot of patience. It's really nice to expand my designs into other mediums other than just drawings and tattoos. But being able to use them in multiple ways feels really valuable to me and l've loved being able to have all my ideas feed back into each other.
